About Our Dental Practice
When I looked at our practice, it became apparent that it was very different from a typical dental office.  I realized that traditional dentistry asks the question, "What's wrong and how do I fix it?"  This question is inappropriate for what I see as the thrust of our practice, which emphasizes health and cosmetic regenerative dentistry.

A patient isn't sick or having a toothache.  He/she is here for something else; an appropriate concern that their smile matches their inner being.   Cosmetic regenerative dentistry creates harmony between our inner and outer self, as when you look as young and fresh as you feel inside.

Although everyone knows inner beauty is more important than physical beauty, I believe the two are linked.  Improving one's smile allows the inner beauty to shine through. Cosmetic regenerative dentistry is about something more powerful than I ever imagined.  The real secret of cosmetic regenerative dentistry is that something magnificent happens inside the person.

My staff and I also believe that tooth loss leads to bone loss; which eventually results in a compromised smile, decreased ability to function and often affects speech.  It has a profound effect on the premature appearance of aging or a youthful, rejuvenating effect when bone is maintained or regenerated.

Age 94
This woman has most of her teeth.  Since teeth provide physiologic stimulation to the jaw, the bony contours of her face are as they were when she matured as a teenager.

Age 62
This woman lost all of her teeth.  Because dentures do not provide proper stimulation, the bone has been receding over the years.  Thus her bony contours are not what she had when she was younger.

Before Implants
Look at the aging effect of tooth loss.  This woman is 44 years old.  She is 50 years younger than our 94 year old.

After Implants
There is a rejuvenating effect after implants are placed.  Her facial contours have been changed, and she has a more youthful appearance.
